Dental Care for Dogs and Cats

Without regular care, pets can suffer from dental issues. They are most often affected by dental plaque and heavy tartar, which are composed of millions of bacteria and can lead to bad breath, pain, gum disease (e.g. gingivitis or periodontal disease), and loose teeth. They can also affect other main body organs such as the heart, liver, and kidneys.

Just like your own dentist, we use special dental instruments and ultrasonic scaling as well as advanced dental X-rays. These procedures are done under general anesthesia for proper safety and quality.
