In 2011, Dr. Jaclyn Kim established Fort Lee Animal Hospital, quickly becoming a trusted name in the local pet community as the practice grew. However, to avoid confusion with a neighboring practice using a similar name for online advertising, our clients began referring to us as “Red Roof Fort Lee Animal Hospital” after the distinctive red awning at our front door. As a result, Dr. Jaclyn Kim is affectionately known as the “Red Roof Vet.”

Meet Dr. Jaclyn Kim & Our Team
Dr. Jaclyn has over 20 years of experience working as a veterinarian. Her strongest interests are in surgery, dentistry, and emergency care. Dr. Kim continues to feed her curiosity for knowledge, staying at the forefront of animal sciences and attending vet conferences throughout the country to continuously grow her skills as a veterinarian.

Dr. Kim is amazing. I have been to at least 5 different vets during my time as a dog owner, and Dr. Kim has been by far the best. She takes her time to explain my dogs’ condition and treatment plans. She has also been very reasonable about not pushing unnecessary and costly treatment, and if there is a more expensive option, she will gently inform me without pushing. I really appreciate the care and attention she gives to my dogs and I will definitely continue to visit her. Highly recommend!!
