There might come a time where you have to get of the town and your pet has an unfortunate condition that requires treatment.

We at Red Roof Vet provide medical boarding services that will accommodate those needs.

We at Red Roof Vet provide medical boarding services that will accommodate those needs.

Reservations must be made one week in advance to ensure availability. Call us at 201-947-5600.

Our medical boarding service includes a trained team member who will be on site along with 24-hour surveillance, relieving some of your worries while you are away from your loving pet.

Our trained staff can also provide medical bathing treatments; nail clipping, and shaving down matted areas.

FOOD, TOYS AND BEDDING
We recommend that the owner brings some of their pet’s regular food and treats to feed them while boarding, along with instructions about the quantity and time your pet usually eats. Sudden diet and feeding changes often cause stomach upset, but we will provide premium food and treats if the guardian is not able to bring the pet’s regular food.

EXAMINATION BY OUR RED ROOF VETERINARIAN PRIOR TO BOARDING
If your pet has ongoing health problems or is a senior over 10 years old, we strongly recommend them to be examined by our doctor. If your pet has been examined by any other veterinarian within the past 6 months of boarding, please bring copies of your pet’s latest veterinary care records and specific veterinary instruction that will help us to care for your pet.

MEDICATION
If your pet requires regular medication during their stay, please bring all medications in their original labeled containers.

VACCINE RECORD
We are strongly committed to keeping a clean environment for our guests.

Dogs: Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel cough), Canine influenza and DHP (3-in-1, 5-in-1, Canine Combo Vaccine, or Distemper)

Cats: FVRCP Vaccine (5-in-1, Feline Combo Vaccine, or Feline Distemper Vaccine) and Rabies.
