Dr. Jaclyn Kim


She obtained her Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Jaclyn graduated from Kon-Kuk University, the top-ranked private veterinary school in Seoul, South Korea. She completed her post-graduate clinical training at the Cornell University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Ithaca, New York. Dr. Jaclyn built her career as a veterinarian in South Korea and America. She refined her emergency critical care skills while working in Seoul’s largest veterinary hospital. When she moved back to California, she had worked for the San Francisco ASPCA, the first “No-Kill Movement” leader of the ASPCA nationwide. During her time in San Francisco, she learned about animal welfare, shelter medicine, and helped educate the community with outreach programs.

Dr. Jaclyn has accumulated over 20 years of experience working as a veterinarian. Her strongest interests are in surgery, dentistry and emergency care. Dr. Kim still continues to feed her curiosity for knowledge especially if it can make her become a better doctor, attending vet conferences throughout the country.

As the veterinarian’s oath, Dr. Jaclyn always tries to provide the best practices to her patients, with all she had learned over the years.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and the Metropolitan New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association.

She currently lives with her adorable Schnauzer, Ninja, adopted cat, Rosie and her baby cat, Baby Elvis
